A slow and gentle fanfare for the arrival of a weary soul to rest.
"Gentle Arrival" is a contemplative brass ensemble piece that unfolds as a slow, delicate fanfare, welcoming a weary soul to its final rest. Inspired by the atmospheric textures of Jóhann Jóhannsson, the composition balances warm, resonant tones with a sense of quiet grandeur. Soft, sustained harmonies and graceful melodic lines rise and fall like a peaceful breath, evoking the solemn beauty of a journey's end. The piece creates a profound emotional space, blending reverence and solace, where the brass instruments convey both the weight of exhaustion and the serenity of release.
