Earlier this year, I had the incredible privilege of participating in the Australian Strings Association’s reading day as a participant and composer. Despite only having a year of experience writing music for string orchestras at the school level, I was thrilled to be invited to showcase my compositions. Both the Victoria and Queensland branches featured my piece, “Willy Wagtail Waltz,” in their programs. This experience has ignited my passion for music education, and I look forward to creating compositions that inspire and nurture young musicians.
